Kayakers paddle over the Sunken City off the shore of Kekova Island in the western Mediterranean region of Turkey. Originally part of the ancient city of Simena, the island was hit by severe earthquakes in the 2nd century AD resulting in the island sinking 6 metres into the Mediterranean.
