East Java, Indonesia June 2015: Sulphur miners involved in mining activities in Kawah Ijen volcano located in Banyuwangi Regency east Java which is an active volcano has an active vent at the edge of the lake is a source of elemental sulphur. Each miner carries 80-100kg of sulphur to the ranger station for which they will earn an average of 12 USD per day. All miners overtime faces a lot of health issues due to their hazardous working environment.
