Kanchanaburi Thailand, Aug 30 2015, The Mon Bridge (Uttamanusorn Bridge)Mon Bridge is the longest wooden bridge in Thailand and the second longest wooden bridge in the world. (The longest wooden bridge in the world is U-Beng in Myanmar) It is 850 meters long. The concept of building the bridge came from the senior abbot named Uttama, he wanted Thai and Mon people across Songkalia river which separate Thai and Mon. So, he gather Thai and Mon to build the wooden bridge together. It is popular for the sunrise in the morning and the way of Thai and Mon living.
