The Immanuel Kant Museum is located in the tower part of the Cathedral, a 14th-century cultural monument recreated after World War II. The museum was opened in 1998. The exhibition space is spread over three floors. The museum's collection includes various exhibits related to the history of Konigsberg-Kaliningrad and the fate of its genius, the German philosopher Immanuel Kant. The first floor of the museum is dedicated to the history of Kneiphof Island. On the second floor there is the famous, reconstructed Wallenrodt Library.
