Crassulaceae Succulent-leaved plant species from the family are collected in two parts as Kalanchoe and Bryophyllum. Kalanchoe is a genus of about 125 tropical, succulent-flowering plant species in the family Crassulaceae. Kalancho was one of the plants sent into space by the Salyut 1 resupply to the Soviet space station in 1979. These succulents are located in the tropical regions of Africa and Asia; most species are found in Madagascar.
