Kumudini lake (Kumudini talav) is a small lake inside the Kaas plateau. The Kumudini lake blooms with beautiful white water lilies during the monsoon season (September-November). These water lilies can be seen for a limited period of 10 to 50 days only. Kaas plateau,also known as Kaas Pathar locally,is situated in Satara district,Maharashtra,India. It has been a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012.
