Pictured is a juvenile Willet foraging for food in shallow water just off the shoreline of Chokoloskee Bay in Florida. The binomial name is Tringa semipalmata. Chokoloskee Bay is roughly 10 miles long and 2 miles wide. It is located along the Gulf Coast of Florida and is separated from the Gulf of Mexico by the Ten Thousand Islands.
