Pictured is a Juvenile American white ibis foraging for food in Chokoloskee Bay in Florida. The binomial name is Eudocimus albus. The ibis main foraging behavior is probing with its beak at the bottom of shallow water to feel for and capture its prey. Chokoloskee Bay is roughly 10 miles long and 2 miles wide and is located along the Gulf Coast of Florida, separated from the Gulf of Mexico by the Ten Thousand Islands.
