This image shows the Jetavanaramaya, a Buddhist stupa located in the ancient city of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. The stupa is the largest in Sri Lanka and is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the country. It was built by King Mahasena in the 3rd century AD and is said to have taken 15 years to complete. The stupa is made of bricks and is over 120 meters tall. It is topped with a golden finial.
