Country music singer, guitarist, and film actor, Jerry Reed, is having a good old time performing at Chicagofest in Chicago, Illinois, in August of 1979. Reed was born in Georgia on March 20, 1937 and died in Nashville, Tennessee on September 1, 2008 at 71. He received a Grammy for performing his hit single, `When You`re Hot, You`re Hot.` Reed was well known for his acting role in `Smokey and the Bandit.`
