Jefferson F. Davis[1] (June 3, 1807/1808[2] – December 6, 1889) was an American soldier and politician who was the President of the Confederate States of America during the American Civil War (1861–1865). This monument is located at Monument Avenue in Richmond, Virginia, USA.
