This is a picture of the Jacob S. Henry Mansion in Joliet, Illinois. Henry was a railroad magnate. This forty room home built in 1873 is considered the best example of Renaissance Revival Architecture standing in the stat of Illinois. In 1876 the mansion won the Architecture Award at the American Centennial Celebration in Philadelphia. The mansion has been declared a National Landmark. this picture was taken on October 23, 2014.
