The International Belgaum and Goa Kite Festival was held at Colva beach on January 20 and 21 and will now proceed to Miramar beach for the weekend, on January 23 and 24. The festival offers Goans a unique chance to witness the participation of around 20 international kite flyers from countries including USA, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, UK, Russia, Estonia, Netherlands, France and Italy, among others. Besides the vibrant kites from the foreign delegates, there will be many unique kites from India which will dot the sky during the festival as 32 national flyers have descended upon Goan shores from cities like Kochi, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Mumbai, Nagpur, Dodballapur, Bengaluru, Dharwad, Kolkata and Belgaum.
