The original wooden Silesian Weavers' Houses from the early 18th century, known as the Twelve Apostles, are a unique place on the map of Lower Silesia's attractions. The history of the creation of these wooden houses dates back to 1707, when the Cistercians from the nearby abbey in Krzeszów brought Czech weavers to Che?msk. They lived in a place convenient for their occupation, by a stream, with a grassy slope where whitened linen could be dried. The houses have remained unchanged to this day (except for one house that burned down), and have characteristic arcades on the entrance side. Two weavers' houses are open to visitors. One of them houses a weaving room maintained by a local association, where there are historic items related to weaving, and the process of creating the fabric is shown, starting from the flowers that grow directly under the windows, ending with the finished canvas. There is also a shop in the room where you can buy beautiful products made of Lower Silesian linen: napkins, tablecloths, cloths.
