The Inner Mongolia Museum is located at the intersection of Xinhua Street and Zhongshan Road in Hohhot. The former Inner Mongolia Museum was the key project of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the autonomous region in 1957. It is the only autonomous regional comprehensive museum in the region and one of the earliest established museums in China`s ethnic minority areas. It was included in the history of world architecture as early as the n1950s. In 2007, the Inner Mongolia Museum was officially opened, with a construction area of 15,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 7,000 square meters. It is a national first-class museum in China.
