Yellow oriental paper wasp (Polistes olivaceus), also known as Indian yellow paper wasp, or Macao paper wasp or yellow paper wasp, is a species of paper wasp in the family Vespidae that is native to India and East Asia. These wasps have single-layered nests which are shaped like an umbrella, with the cells exposed to the air from the bottom, and no layer wrapping around the nest.
