A beekeeper has made this device to collect steam cleaned beeswax. Water is heated inside a fire proof cylinder which is placed in a bonfire. Steam travels through a fireproof pipe and into a custom made box which has the same footprint as the beehives boxes. There is a metal heat proof mesh filter below the steam entrance valve and then a sloping metal floor under this. Beehive boxes containing frames of old wax comb are stacked on top of the device and a lid. Hot steam travels through the stack, the wax melts and gets filtered as it travels out of the stack and in to whatever receptacle the beekeeper has chosen. This might be an old bucket or old ice cream tub.
