Event: Celebration in honour of Saint Benedict, 29° edition. Since 1626 the city celebrate the saint with the Fire's Day, the historic parade and short stage plays representing historical events in each ward. In Taggia there are 10 wards: Pantano, San Dalmazzo, Santa Lucia, Piazza Nuova, Orso, Ciazo, Paraxio, Trinità , San Sebastiano and Pozzo. The ten wards compete to win first prize. Winner stage plays 2009: S. Dalmazzo. Winner Historic Parade 2009: Trinità . This year the event is included in The Historical Games Italian Association (F.I.G.S.) Place: Taggia, Liguria in Italy.
