This is a winter picture of the historic Champaign County Courthouse located in Urbana, Illinois in Champaign County. This three story red brick structure was created by Joseph William Royer, it is an example of Romanesque Revival architecture, it features a 135 foot tall clock/bell tower, it was built in 1901. The courthouse is a contributing property to the Urbana Downtown Historic District which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in August 27, 2019.
