The Henniker covered bridge serves New England College and the community of Henniker as a footbridge across the Contoocook River. The Henniker Bridge was constructed to replicate the traditional style of covered bridges, however, it has not yet reached the 50 year age criteria for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
