This is the last of the major dams in Hells Canyon. you are looking south while the Snake River is flowing to the north. There are bright blue skies with wispy clouds. Hells Canyon in is the deepest canyon in North America. It runs along the eastern boarders of Oregon and Washington and the western boarder of Idaho. The Snake River runs through this canyon. Idaho Power is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the three 3 dams that are in this area.
