Harbin Opera House is a landmark building in Harbin. It is built according to the water. It is consistent with the location and design of Harbin Cultural Island, and reflects the design concept of landscape and landscapes of the North Country. As a public building facility, the Harbin Opera House tries to provide different spatial feelings to the citizens and visitors from the theatre, landscape, square and three-dimensional platform. Considering the needs of performance and sightseeing, Harbin Opera House adopted the world`s first way of introducing natural light into the theatre, enriched the lighting mode in non-performance period, and created a new mode of energy saving and environmental protection. The streamlined style of multi-island stand in the theatre is unified with the overall style of outside architecture. In the design process, the designer set up a unique pedestrian sightseeing corridor and viewing platform in the theatre. Visitors can overlook the surrounding wetlands and enjoy Harbin`s unique natural wetland scenery.
