A wonderful tree native to Scandinavia is distinguished by its smooth white bark and elegant delicate leaves, which acquire a bright golden color in autumn. The Dalecarlian birch reaches a height of 10 m, the crown is openwork, the branches are directed upwards, thin side shoots hang down. The plant is light-loving, perfectly tolerates direct sunlight, tolerates polluted urban air, is frost-resistant and undemanding to the composition of the soil. The variety is very popular in Europe, where it has long been successfully used for landscaping cities and garden plots.
