Hampi, a world’s largest Open air Museum, is a UNESCO world heritage site. This area is famous for its pre-historic megalithic dolmens at Badami, ancient temples at Aihole, Pattadakal, Mahakuta and Hampi. Anjaneyadri or Anjaneya Hill, the birthplace of the monkey-god Hanuman, Rishimuka Mountain, Pampa Sarovar are affiliated with Ramayana. Tungabhadra Dam and Park is also a worth visiting place.
