Guoqing Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Tiantai Mountain, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. It was founded in 598 AD during the Sui Dynasty, and is the birthplace of the Tiantai school of Buddhism in China and Japan. The temple covers an area of 73,000 square meters, and the existing buildings were rebuilt in 1734 during the Qing Dynasty.
