Construction began in the second half of the first decade of the 21st century and was an unprecedented architectural milestone in Galicia. The 104-meter-high arch with a span of 168 meters supports a deck that reaches 630 meters in length and is also supported by piles that in some cases exceed no more or less than 117 meters. This new viaduct is possibly the highest bridge in the world built for the passage of high-speed trains.<
