Gretch is a well known and very popular manufacturer of hollow body electric guitars. This particular model has an extra lower string for walking base lines. Duane Eddy played most of his recordings on a Gretsch guitar. Rockabilly guitarist Brian Setzer has a collection of 13 Gretsch guitars. This guitar is on display at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.
