The chicken stick ( Green Iguana) is native to Central and South America, but was naturalized in Puerto Rico several years ago and now plays aggressively and dispersed throughout the island. We have so many that it is no longer rare to see them basking in the morning, climbed on a gate or descasando on the sidewalk. Some have suicidal thoughts and bask on the pitch, ending their lives when crossing roads. Young iguanas are an attractive emerald green color and is still sold in pet stores, to be then released by their owners and join the growing population threatens crops and agriculture in the country. Hens stick as genuine chickens, are edible and the meat is not only tasty, but contains very little fat. Since this is an interesting alternative to control the population of iguanas.
