This is a Spring picture of the Lake County Courthouse, in Crown Point, Indiana, affectionately referred to as the Grand Old Lady. The courthouse was designed by J.C. Cochran, is an example of the Romanesque and Georgian styles of architecture, and was erected in 1878. The courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 17, 1973. This picture was taken on April 15, 2015.
