Lisbon, Portugal has no shortage of visual art, some of which is prominently displayed on city buildings and residences. Graffiti adorns the fringes of this structure, but one`s eyeballs are drawn mostly to the giant green reptile taking up residense on 5 stories of the outside of what is now an abandoned building. In 2010 Lisbon launched the Crono Project a successful effort to emply artists to jazz up old or abandoned buildings. It has earned Lisbon a reputation as having one of the world's best known urban centers for this type of art.
