Photo of the galloping goose railroad car in telluride colorado taken with film back in march 1993 during a ski vacation. This is car no. 4 of 7 which was built by the rio grande southern railroad from 1931-1936. These cars based on an auto chassis were built to replace steam engines which were too expensive to operate for light duties. This was a static display but returned for operation in 2013 for tourism. This is a conspicuous telluride landmark due to its strange design.
