On the south side of the Piazza Garibaldi, the largest square in the Italian town of Sulmona at the foot of the Maiella massif, is the 12th Century Gothic aqueduct. Near the aqueduct is the baroque fountain called Fontana de Vecchio. Above the aqueduct towers the Santa Chiara Church.
