One of the great philanthropists of Boca Raton and south Florida was Florence Keesely, nicknamed Flossie. She died at the age of 101 in 2016. Here she is seen reaching for a star. In the background is a large poster heralding the unfolding 18th annual Festival of the Arts Boca. The festival is held in the ampitheatre just in back of the poster, on the northern edge of Mizner Park.
