Stock Photo: Flat Sea Worn Pebbles And Crashing Waves

ID 58840351 © Shfraser | Megapixl.com

In the foreground we can see a thick layer of flat, smooth, rounded pebbles which have been worn smooth by the sea. They are poorly sorted with a wide mix of sizes of pebbles. Beyond these are white oxygenated waves that are just crashing onto the shoreline. There are two distinct waves the first one is just crashing while the one behind still have a section which has to turn. There is also spray rising from this wave. In the distance are two very small boats, one a traditional Scottish fishing boat, the other a leisure sailing boat. Although the sky is cloud laden we see small breaks of blue sky appearing. This can be seen from the coastal path from Hopeman to Lossiemouth on the Moray Coast, Grampian, Scotland.
