This is a picture of the south entrance of the Field Museum of a natural History in Chicago, Illinois. The museum was completed in 1921 to serve as a permanent home to many of the exhibits from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition held in Chicago. The museum architects were Chris Taylor & Company and Burnham Graham & Company. The architectural style is Classical Revival. The Field Museum was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 5, 1975. This picture was taken on October 22, 2014.
