Fethiye Mosque or Teotokos Pamakaristos Monastery in Istanbul, Turkey, was originally built as a church by Mihail Glabas Tarkaniotes, one of the notables of Byzantium, at the end of the 13th century. After the conquest of Istanbul, it started to be used as a patriarchate in 1454. It was converted into a mosque in 1601.
