Summer view ferry on waters of Vah river with famous Strecno Castle on massive rocky formation in background. The Strecno Castle is a ruin of Gothic castle located near Zilina town in northern Slovakia. The castle was ruined in the 17th century during fights and it was left in ruins after that. However the 20th century it has undergone massive renovation when it was archaeologically preserved and it is now opened for public as an open-air museum. The castle of Strecno is declared as a national cultural monument.
