This is a Spring picture of the Benjamin S. Edwards home in Sprinfield, Illinois known simply as Edwards Place. The house was built in 1833, is an example of Italianate architecture, and Abraham Lincoln was a regular guest. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 17, 1969. This picture was taken on May 2, 2015.
