Stock Photo: Ecce Homo Arch, Via Dolorosa, Jerusalem

ID 74960175 © Roberto1977 | Megapixl.com

View of the Ecce Homo arch on Via Dolorosa, in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, Israel. Traditionally the arch was the location of Pontius Pilate’s Ecce speech, reported by the Bible. But, due to archaeological investigations, today we know the arch is a triple-arched gateway built by Hadrian as an entrance to the eastern Forum of Aelia Capitolina. RAW file available.
