Georgian Federal style house, listed on National Register of Historic Places, built by Lucius Alexander when he purchased mill on Saxton River. In 1840 it was enlarged with Greek Revival porches and arch to become `Eagle Hotel,` a temperance stage stop. Later, as a private residence for the Hall family, postmasters for 70 years, it was known as the `Fannie Hall` house.
