Pictured is a small part of the double row of papyrus columns with bud capitals on the east side of the Amenhotep III Court as well as the dominant north end of the court. The north end has an entrance into the Hypostyle Court which has four rows of eight papyrus columns with bud capitals. The Luxor Temple was built in 1400 BCE on the east bank of the Nile River in the ancient City of Thebes which is today Luxor.
