Sitting in a dog sled with 10 dogs in front eager to race down the snowy trails is like sitting in a race car. The dogs are pulling so hard on the sled that it needs to be anchored in the snow with a hook. Once the hook is released by the musher the sled takes off, pulling you back in the sled. It is an unforgetable adventure to go on a dog sled tour and experience the power and endurance of a team of dogs working together and having fun in the cold at the same time.
The picture was taken sitting in a dog sled on a round trip tour to the Great Divide - the border between Alberta and British Columbia. Trailhead is in Lake Louise Alberta, Canada.
