Nashik: 10th November 2021: Beautiful view of the Dharamchakra jain temple at Mumbai Nashik highway. The Dharmachakra Jain Temple is located in the village of Ozar,which is approximately 85 km from Nashik,Maharashtra,India. The temple is one of the most important Jain pilgrimage sites in Maharashtra and is dedicated to Lord Adinath,who is considered the first Jain Tirthankar.The temple is known for its unique architecture and is built in the shape of a dharmachakra (the Wheel of Dharma),which is a symbol of Jainism. It has 24 spokes,each of which represents a Tirthankar of the Jain religion. The temple has several intricately carved pillars and ceilings,and the main shrine houses a 6-feet-tall idol of Lord Adinath in a meditative posture.Apart from the main shrine,the temple complex also has several other smaller shrines dedicated to various other Tirthankars.
