Built in 1880 to be the residence of Ernesto Biester a wealthy 19 th century merchant and playwright. Was designed by architect Jose Luiz Monteiro. Its conical roofs and neo-gothic windows face the road that goes up the mountain. The Palace is surrounded by the majestic Biester Park, a true Eden of rare and exuberant arboreal species.
