Dead Woman's Pass, Inca Trail, Peru: Rocks form the steps of a this steep mountain pass, located at an altitude of 4,200 meters (14,800 feet) in the Peruvian Andes. The stones at the viewers feet form a section the ancient Inca trail on the way to Machu Picchu. Dead Woman's Pass, so named because of the silhouette formed by a nearby rock formation, is also called 'Abra Warmihuañusca'.
