Dachaidan Emerald Lake belongs to the magnesium sulfate subtype salt lake. It is the third largest artificial lake in Haixi Prefecture, covering an area of more than 26 square kilometers. It produces good quality potassium, magnesium, lithium and other elements. And the dark blue lake water alternates and is crystal clear, which the locals call `Emerald Lake`. The salt ponds of Dachaidan Emerald Lake with different shapes and different depths are like blocks of crystal clear `Jade`. It was the mining area of the salt lake mining team of the original Dachaidan Chemical Plant. After years of mining, mining pits were formed and turned into the beautiful Emerald Lake today. In the autumn, the Emerald Lake is rippling with blue waves. Standing on the edge of the lake, the mirror-like surface of the lake reflects the blue sky, white clouds and snow-capped peaks, like a fairyland.
