Kamienna Góra (Stone Hill) is a moraine hill, located close to Baltic Sea 52 m above sea level. First wooden cross was erected here in early 1930s when Gdynia was rapidly developing. It was deleted by Germans after invasion and occupation in II WW. Second wooden cross was erected here shortly after II WW. Was again deleted by communist rullers in 1960s. Present all-steel one was build in 1993. None of its predecessors towered over Kamienna Góra for so long. Is 25 meters high and weighs 25 tons.
