The white dung beetle (Latin Coprinus comatus) is a fungus of the genus Dung beetle (Latin Coprinus) of the Dung family.The mushroom is edible only at a young age, before the beginning of staining of the plates, no later than two days after it appeared from the soil. It is necessary to process it no later than 1-2 hours after harvesting, since the autolysis reaction continues even in frozen mushrooms. It is recommended to pre-boil as conditionally edible, although there are claims about the edibility of the mushroom even in its raw form.
