This early Gothic collegiate church, in a combination of Romanesque and Burgundian Gothic styles, was consecrated in 1276. Starting from 1530 this church became a center of Protestant worship in Switzerland, where Reformation was led by Guillaume Farel (1489-1565), who's statue is featured in front of it.
