Coelogyne xyrekes is a species of orchid. This flower has an average size of 5 to 7 cm.
This flower image is found in Aceh in primary and secondary mountain forests at altitudes of 700 to 1900 meters as a medium-sized epiphyte, growing in warm to cool clusters, elliptical, 4 ribbed, deeply grooved between, slightly wrinkled, shiny dark green carrying all one, apical, plicate, 5 nerves, pink to purple in youth, glossy dark green, broad lanceolate leaves gradually narrowing into distinct petioles and blooms in late winter 10 to 20 cm long, limp, single flowering successive to 5 inflorescences with tubular, acute sheaths all emerging from the center of the new growth and bearing variably colored, sometimes sweetly scented flowers.
